I have a 2000 excursion with a 4in mbrp turbo back and airraid stage 2 intake I was looking at putting Garrett PowerMax Ball Bearing GTP38R Turbo. does anyone have any personal experience with this turbo? and is there any other mods I should do before I put the turbo on? I am on budget so I am trying to do stuff here and there but I want to make sure I do it right where I don't blow up anything.

there is a small mod you can do.to it which is crossdrillng the divider.
you could pm powerstroke junkie more as to the size hole etc. note sure of the gains but I think it more of a pressure balnce mod.
