Smile Mods to my 7.3

Ok, well first of all I have a 2000 f250 7.3 6 speed manual. All Have done is put the superchip flashpaq in it and a k&n filter. I smoke a little and it has quite a bit of power but I just want more power and more smoke. I need some ideas for some mods to do to my truck. I want to put better injectors on it but won't I have to upgrade other stuff if I do that?

be careful about the smoke, that doesnt go over well around here. you can check out the resistor mods if you dont want to spend a lot of money, stay away from the ICP resitor mod though.

Re: Mods to my 7.3

What a surprise that he joined just this month and its his first post.
I just dont understand what is so cool about smoke. Im not sayin my truck doesnt do it when I stomp on it, but I baby my truck. I drive a diesel for crying out loud and I dont like getting black smoked by other trucks. I hate it when people with diesels, they see your truck then they're like "oh lets smoke him out cause I have a diesel too!"

Re: Mods to my 7.3

Id be much more impressed if another diesel came up by me and did a rolling burnout with no smoke or something then coming up and dumping a big cloud of smoke on me for no reason. Like that is going to prove something to me besides the fact your truck isnt tuned very well or in the case of a dodge is getting way to much fuel

Re: Mods to my 7.3

That why Ive always liked powerstrokes better. Obs with just a tune and some other little stuff run good and dont smoke hardly at all and newer7.3s, 6.0s, 6.4s, and 6.7s only smoke at first if tuned good then they just sh!t and get.

Well what all would I have to upgrade if I were to get better injectors?
