SCT Livewire

Does anybody know anything about the SCT LivewireTS for a 7.3 Powerstroke. Are they any good, do they destroy the engine and trans, and can you change powerlevels on the fly?

Re: SCT Livewire

I know a guy on here was having issues getting it to actually connect to his 7.3L. But some others have had luck with it.

Are you set on getting a Livewire TS, or are you just looking for a programmer in general?

Either the Livewire TS or an Edge CTS

Re: SCT Livewire

A custom tuned 6 pos. sw. with a scan gauge would be a good option. I ran an Edge and SCT for a few years and thought they were good til I got a custom tuned chip. It's really nice to change tunes on the fly.

'03 7.3L SWB CC 4X4 DI Competition long block, Gearhead tuned 6-pos chip, FFD 250/100 injectors, SRP1, 38R, BTS, Newton traction bars, usual supporting mods.
13.49 @ 100.9mph 1/4 mile

custom compounds, and 400/200's in the works. Maybe even some giggle gas.
