Will this work?

I found a great deal on a 6 inch lift for my truck (f-350 crew cab long bed) and the lift would be coming off of an f-250 ccsb with a 5.4 gas motor. I know the 7.3 is a lot heavier but the lift sits ass heavy how it is so not too worried about it nose diving just wondering if it will fit. I will also be getting wheels and tires for it. Heres my truck and my buddies truck I would be buying the lift from

Yeah if I decide to do it. I hate to say it but I think it's time to sell the truck and get something else.

Re: Will this work?

$1800 ?? WOW , thats ridiculous for a used 6" lift , wait a second...... That's ridiculous for a new 6" lift. Try $800-1000 for a new one. I got a 6" rough country springs and blocks for $780 new a few years back. Have a 4" Pro Comp on current and wont ever run another Pro Comp due to front spring sag. Your used setup for a gas motor might fit a diesel but will never hold up to the weight of the diesel , i would almost be willing to bet the two have a different spring pack as well as arch.

03 7.3 with the new nose 8" and 37's 124k original and adding slowly

Sold - 00 X, 01 350, 02 350

Re: Will this work?

I think the springs are the same although I'm not certain. Just what my buddy who has a 7.3 plow truck said. And I agree $1800 is very steep for a new lift.

01 f350 dually CCLB, 7in lift, 6637 zoodad, 4.5" stacks, Isspro gauges, PHP Hyrda, ww2, industrial injectors 180/40

It's not just the lift guys it's the lift, wheels, and tires. I know $1800 is ridiculous for a new lift. I'm selling my truck anyway so it's not going to get lifted.
