7.3 Bullydog

Ok so I'm new to this site, so I haven't time to update my info yet... I just recently lurched a Bullydog with the display for my 2002 7.3 and I am unable to get it to load to truck it keeps throwing a code 602 on the display... I called bully dog they did a firm wear update no help, took to food had them rest the truck computer so if it nada programmer on before maybe I would be able to take it off and install new one but that didn't work either. Any ideas? Thanks

Re: 7.3 Bullydog

i had a bullydog tripledog downloader (got it for free), i knew it was temporary till i could afford a chip an guages etc. When i got my guages and went for 3mile ride to check them lets just say that their tuning is ok except the egts where at 1600 and climbing on the tow/economy tune. it came off immediately. I uses php tunes and they work great. better economy, power, great shifting, and much lower egt's than the bullydog. if you insist on keeping the bully dog you need to pull a fuse i think its a 15amp one in order to flash the computer just do a google search for which fuse to pull. it was like the 3rd on in or something like that on my excursion.

Re: 7.3 Bullydog

I have heard of this issue with the new SCT unit on the 7.3 also.

If you are looking for a programmer/monitor we have the Infinity. Let me know if you are interested and I will get some information to you.

You can check it out on our website HERE

We can also set you up with a chip too.
