2000 7.3 Powerstroke Chips??

Had the Excursion for some time now and I have been doing the minor bolt-ons here and there, but its time to bring this thing to life. Currently running the stock Garret turbo, intercooler, K&N, Banks 6 Gun so can anyone recommend a Chip that would piggy back with this setup? Nothing to radical and must accommodate the trans (not a hard shift but firm).

Does anyone make them on this site or is it best to go with TS or something comparable?

Banks Big Hoss Module will piggy back on it..if your not adding hard parts like injectors, turbos, etc..it may be a way to go.

otherwise your looking at semi custom tunes, but without hard parts tunes will only go so far. you have to get more air and fuel from somewhere.

Early 99 f350 4x4 crew cab, auto. pmt2 pcm
2001 cup holder ,T500, MAX AC ASSIST AC mod, Diy Twin tymar, TS chip, Powerslots & Hawk pads, ford AIC, ..... with big fat want to list.

Yeah really...

That post didn't answer what I was asking...

What's first? Injectors, turbo, because what I didn't mention I have done the exhaust, 4" only because that is the largest I could go. Did delete the muffler...

Re: 2000 7.3 Powerstroke Chips??

Ok let me try and help you out since lately this site is starting to remind me of pirate with all the bitching going on.
Nothing will stack with your 6 gun. If your gonna go with injectors youll need to sell the six gun and get a chip with some custom tunes. Either a ts stye with CUSTOM tues or a setup like what php or dptuner offers.
If you want to keep your six gun and your injectors are in good shape you could do a turbo upgrade. The 2gen wicked wheel looks intriguing to me both ftom a cost and performance stand point.
You can always do a hpop upgrade regardless of the tuner you have. But gains from that are depentant on mileage and condition of your stock one.

For what its worth my 02 has 180000 on it. I have dp tuner f5 chip with stock tunes on it. Its going back for custom tunes because im installing stage ones from full force. In the spring im doing a terminator t500 hpop and most likely a 2ndgen ww if all the testing works out on it.

Getting rid of the kn intake would be my first change on your rig.

That isn't true. It was made to be stacked with a chip.

If only those who knew what they were talking about replied, this thread would still be on page one.

Yep, the HPOP was just resealed (that was fun) but I should have just put the t500 as you mentioned. Does that need to be upgraded prior to the injectors? Also, I am curious why K&N has such a bad wrap because according to the little ball at Oriellys it allows a lot air to pass by:) all joking aside what is it with k&N... Your the 2nd or 3rd person that said that.

@Justin- I am going to email you directly to get some additional information.

K&N filters are known to let dirt in.... Causing a dusted turbo and motor.
