Should be.. but you will need it time be in neutral w parking brake on etc...
No reason it should work otherwise. I don't recall the one one I put non looking for anything special other then a delay for glow plugs or wts light. Just remember if it is in gear and you crank it she will move.

I know both AstroStart and AutoStart work with a manual. Just need a little different programming, and a Ebrake switch.

Yeah only big differance is time delay relay and you have to bypass the clutch switch. But definitly remember to leave it in N and brake on. Watched a guy I know start his and forgot he had left his in first, ran right up on the hood of another guys car we knew. Funny but bad news.

Re: 2000 f250 7.3

I had an Astrostart on my previous truck. It used this procedure to make sure it was left out of gear:
1. Engine running, set park brake
2. Tap brake
3. Turn key off (engine continues to run)
4. Exit vehicle
5. Engine shuts off when door closes.

If a door gets reopened, the remote start is disabled. This was kind of a pain sometimes. If you ran back out to grab something out of the truck, you had to restart the truck or it wouldn't remote start the next time you needed it. Slightly inconvenient but was nice if you remembered to "arm" it.
