Edge CS and Bully Dog Chip Questions

I have a 2000 F250 auto k&n cold air intake, and 5" Bully Dog exhaust.
Now for the questions.....

- I have been running a Bully Dog 6 position 4 bank chip for a few years and decided to try something new
-I got a edge cs and egt probe and put it on
-Now I want to know which one will I get better results out of if I have one or the other reburnt with custom tunes.
Is the Bully dog chip able to be reburnt?
Sould I A- Have the bully dog chip reburnt with custom tunes and use the cs for gauges or B- have the cs redone by beans?
I hate stopping and going through the long process of changing tunes with the cs but I mostly want to know which I will get the best results out of.

Re: Edge CS and Bully Dog Chip Questions

I'd look at a TS chip with custom tunes and a new intake...K&N's and cleanable filters shouldn't be used.

We only carry the BEST parts and never compromise just to get a sale.

Dealer for: Full Force, Tymar, BTS, Icon, Pure Performance, TW tunes, just to name a few.

Re: Edge CS and Bully Dog Chip Questions

Ok I have already spent all this money on what I have so I'm not going to sink money into another chip. I want to know if my bully dog chip can be burt with custom tunes. And what kind of intake should I be using? Can I just buy a different filter to put on my existing k&n system?

Re: Edge CS and Bully Dog Chip Questions

What do u mean have the cs redone by beans???

And ya u should be able to get an AFE or a S&B filter or similar to fit ur k&n there filters just aren't very good for 7.3s

And I don't know if anyone can Reburn that bullydog pretty sure the standard chip is a TS style chip

Re: Edge CS and Bully Dog Chip Questions

Go with the 6637, Its a good filter, its just kind of a pain in the ass because its so damn big. And Im pretty sure a vendor on here custom tunes the bullydog chips. I remember hearing that somewhere but I could be wrong. What you could do is sell the bully dog on craigslist or ebay and then buy a ts chip.

that only works if you have the evolution or typhoon or whatever. if you have the insite cs/cts then those are strictly for monitoring

I don't have a insite CS. I have the CS that does the tuning along with the monitoring, That they CAN reprogram with their tunes.
