Swamps sledgehammer?

Planning a build on my dually. Thinking I'm gonna go with 250/200% Injectors and found a great deal on a sledgehammer Turbo, just not sure if it will be the right Turbo for me. Just looking for a fun DD. Something with great street manners and still be able to tow decent loads with. Also been looking at the s467fmw irate sells. Any input?

1999 CC/LB DRW stock for now.

Re: Swamps sledgehammer?

I recently bought a 467, but haven't installed it yet. Call jake at irate. Great guy to talk to, very helpful. From what he tells me, it would be great with 250/200's.

Re: Swamps sledgehammer?

I wouldn't run the sledgehammer. Go with the 467.

I wonder what my sig and avatar will get changed to now!!

Please let me know what you think of that setup. Maybe some pictures of that thing under the Hood!

Re: Swamps sledgehammer?

Probably won't get it installed for a couple months. Busy season at work during the winter, and my wife is due with our first little one in another month.

Re: Swamps sledgehammer?

Why not run the sledge? Is it the small turbine wheel?

Re: Swamps sledgehammer?

sledgehammer is t4i which is becoming out dated... I run an S467 on my truck with 238/100's and make 55psi and 500hp. Best turbo out there for DD/fun truck in my opinion

Which housing do you use with your 238s?
