Re: Sorry guys ccv mod

Hey man I wrote a thread on it not long ago. Pull the dog house and clean it out really well (brake clean, parts washer, contact cleaner) just get it were what ever you clean it with comes out clean no more oil. Flip it around and run a piece of 3/4 heater hose out of it over your brake booster down behind the motor pointing down. (down draft tube) Then pull the piece out of your intake hose that the dog house went into, replace with a piece of 4" pipe about 3-1/2" long. Thats it. No more oil in the turbo and clean boots. If you clean the dog house out good no need for a vent trap. I dont have any oil coming out of mine and all clean. Good luck

PVC, copper, aluminum, steel, etc. Doesn't really matter what type of pipe you use. I used a 3/4 x 3/4 plastic nipple on mine. Worked just fine.

Get a 3/4" rubber cap for the intake. You rotate the doghouse so it won't interfere with anything.

Re: Sorry guys ccv mod

I just stopped by a metal shop and got a piece of scrap for like ten bucks, got a piece long enough to make another for a buddy. It was like 1/8" thick probably less. You can cap off the factory piece, but I just wanted to git rid of any air disruptions. Polished the pipe with a flapper wheel and painted it black, looks factory. Fits nice and snug between my afe stage 2 intake pipe and the turbo inlet house, didnt need to make anything to bolt it in for support as some have done, it aint going anywhere. Used a straight 3/4 coupling to tie to the dog house with some hose clamps.
