Boost pressures between cam sensors, there is a difference!

I just swapped out my black cam sensor from napa because the truck started stalling randomly a few times a day. I installed the ford grey one and the truck now makes 3-4 less psi than the black one. Does that make any sense? Also take into consideration, i tested it as soon as i got off the highway after running the truck for about an hour. I wonder if heat soak had a hand in the less boost?? Truck is making about 41-42 psi of boost pre I/C. It was making 44-45 prior to testing. Should i wait until the truck is a bit cooler to test again? For reference, it makes 38 psi in my 80 setting. The prior numbers were in my 140 setting. I'm thinking the oil was too hot and my ICP was a bit low from running it for a while. Any one agree?

Yeah I think you should try it again when its a little cooler. It may not make a difference but then you will know for sure. Hey off topic a little. . . but what tire size are you running. . . are you stick or auto. . . and how is the turbo lag with that 71mm? Thanks

I see in your sig. . . future BTS. . . so you are an auto.
