Pictures of my carnage

Here are some photos of my block and some of the parts that I found along the road after it blew.









Here is my old engine coming out, my new one is on the floor.




Here is my blown PMR engine.. Notice the hole down near the rear where the oil filter goes.







Here is the passenger side..

Yeah this is the shop I work out of when I need to do something.. Its nice to have tools and help!!

I thought about dropping the pan just to see the parts inside.. I know both 7 and 8 cylinders are toast.. I think one blew taking out the other, not sure which one went first though.

my pan was full off parts and had a broke cam and five bent push rods

Greg, thats crazy your engine let loose like that at 35 mph!!!

Yeah but at about 2800 RPM pulling 16K lbs.

Mine blew my starter to pieces and took out a few pushrods. The heads are still ok from what I can tell, although I have no plans for them, probably just junk them.
