ww install

can you install a ww w/o pullin the turbo? thanks

yes. but for a 99.5 its not the right way to go, but in you sig looks like you are installing it on a 96?

it for my dads 2000, it surges bad towin. would this fix it

WW might fix it or it might not, you will have to try it and see.

A for sure fix for surge is the ATS ported housing.

Early 1999 (4/98) 7.3, Automatic, f-250 superduty, 4x4, crewcab, shortbed.

banks turbo housing
big head waste gate-disconnected

i installed mine with out taking the turbo off... it helped with surge but didnt fix it completely i still have it in my hi setting on my chip

Isn't that hard to pull the turbo off. I'd just pull it out instead of laying across the engine trying to install it.
