pullin and nozzle ?

ok i got 80% over nozzles, and i am tryin to get more rpms goin down the track. my new pullin program is suppose to let me turn on up there, like at least 4k. however i still can only get 3200 but it holds it the whole way. i am pullin in 2nd low tc locked. so do yall think some 200% nozzles would help this alot? thanks

Re: pullin and nozzle ?

Have you recorded your PW at 3200???

The 80's are capable of roughly 64cc per/ms(with everything else being perfect).

Re: pullin and nozzle ?

If you're not making any power, you can't keep accelerating the truck enough for those rpms to ever happen.

In other words, you have to make the power up there if you want to go down the track up there. Otherwise, gear down and you can spin 5k down the track. Although you might only be going 2mph in low range first gear.

Some tuners don't claim to have problems making power at higher rpm. Call one of them.

Re: pullin and nozzle ?

but say i am only gettin 2ms at 3200 is it not pointless to have 240cc sticks if i can only get 130 of it out?

Re: pullin and nozzle ?

Yep. Sure is. Well, unless you consider the huge cloud of smoke at the start important.
