Unhappy TN BB Disapointment

Recently switched to a TN BB with the intentions of doing twins in the near future. I have been running the truck for the last week and i am very disapointed in the performance of this turbo. Even my laggy H2e worked better than this. I have checked for leakes in both the hot side and cold side and there are none. Today driving on the highway @ 65mph i had NO boost showing on the gauge and EGT were 1k. The old H2e at least made 3-4 psi in the same situation and EGT were 700's.

Re: TN BB Disapointment

Something must be wrong with the install. Triple check everything before you go blaming the turbo when it could quite possibly just be the installer.

Maybe the back band-clamp?

Re: TN BB Disapointment

i have checked everything, Twice. I even took it off and reinstalled everything thinking the back clamp did not seat correctly. It has nothing to do with the installer.

Re: TN BB Disapointment

that sucks. call them and have them send you a new one if all the other probs are diagnosed!
hopefully there are no boost/exhaust leaks... sounds like you got it though.
if there are no probs, it's a bad unit. i can tell you mine does not perform like that. hopefully this doesn't turn into a pissing match, there CS is good and keep us posted on what happens.

Re: TN BB Disapointment

I have pulled my hair out over this. i had as much as 25psi in the Dieselsite style leak tester and no leaks in the system. I also checked again and there is no soot anywhere.
