Re: New Stack

Looks good!!

I like that you put it in the center, cause I like symmetry.

p.s. in one of the pics it looks like the stack needs to be rotated clockwise just a pinch.

Re: New Stack

It is as close to symmetrically perfect (to the bed) as it's going to get. Plus My truck doesnt sit perfectly level side-side so it may be a tad bit off because the stack is plumb.

Kenny, it sounds alot different! The normal flutter and rumble you'd get when you crack your rear window is gone, the sound is no longer there next to the windows. It made it 300% quieter in the cab, you can not hear it with the windows up unless you are getting into it, but at that point the turbo is louder and drowns it out. The exhaust tone is deeper out of the single stack, however it's not in "stereo" as it would be with duals. It whistles and flutters just as much, maybe more since there are less bends to dampen the sound. You can hear it for yourself if you are going to fall brawl...

BTW, As you can see with the crowd of people i bring up to Fall Brawl, i was the only one with stacks in my county, and now every ford and their buddy has a set of miter cut's on their truck. I wanted to be different, try something new and unheard from where i am, and see if any of them have the balls to copy me

Smoke shooting pics soon to follow!

Re: New Stack

Interesting. I think I like it.

Where'd you get that billet clamp? That's pretty cool.

Re: New Stack

Thanks guys. I think i like it too. I am keeping my old setup for the moment just in case. Or, is that one of your hints as to something from the mind of Jeremy Harvey?

That clamp is called a StaxxClamp, you can get the same thing for the same price (alot!) without the name engraved in it from ITP Diesel. I got mine from some random place i could find off google (Unita Diesel Performance?) Before i knew Dennis sold them.

Re: New Stack

I can't exactly say love or hate. Not how I would mount one because I use my rear view mirror more then my side mirrors so it would be in the way. On the other hand it's a very clean install & looks good.
