Programmer Question

My programmer gives me this... what does it mean/represent?

Calculated load value
####'s

Manifold pressure
####'s
These values show if I leave it plugged in and drive... I know I'm an idiot... but, oh well...

Talking Re: Programmer Question

first one is the load on the motor it will change as you excelerate , I can tell you some cars will show 20% load just idling in park. THe computer uses the reading from that to addjust fuel and other things. the second one is what your boost is.

Re: Programmer Question

I have to ask, why in the world did you put a Jet programmer on there? Did that before getting on here I guess?

I bought a Jet chip for my '97 F150 a long time ago from Jeg's. Sent it back to them and got a refund because it made almost zero difference in anything. Ended up getting a Superchip which worked great.

I'd seriously consider getting a custom chip if you can.

Re: Programmer Question

Oh yeah.... You KNOW I'm gonna get a DP. But I was dieing for SOMETHING until I could get a REAL programmer... And my buddy had this one, told me he'd give it to me for 100 bucks... So I went ahead and bought it. It actually makes what seems like good power to me.... But I can't wait to feel a DP on the 140 setting...

Re: Programmer Question

Oh yeah.... but I did do the foil delete mod yesterday, so I figure we're around the same output range... I guess I don't need a DP-Tuner anymore!
On edit- Is that really my boost??? At what measurement?? How do you spell measurment?

Actually you've got a significant amount more than me considering I don't have a truck right now.
