Put the OEM pump back in until you have the correct fittings to plumb it from the tank to the fuel filter housing?

Re: Need Help ASAP with Walbro install!!!

OEM pump is only putting out 25 PSI.

It looks like I could cut the quick connect off, then use the barb fitting it came with, but there isn't ebough slack in the fuel lines for that.

Grab some extra fuel line at napa tee into it with a fitting and connect. Then when ya got time take the band aid off and re-do it right.

Thanks for the replies guys, the problem has been resolved.

Does 60-61 psi of fuel pressure sound about right???

Re: Need Help ASAP with Walbro install!!!

OK, just got back from a harsh test drive and the fuel pressure gauge flickers between 50-52 at idle, is this normal??

Also when I turn the key the fuel pressure quickly shoots up to about 53 PSI, then drops to about 40 while cranking, then holds 50-52 at idle....normal??

Re: Need Help ASAP with Walbro install!!!

Sounds perfect to me.

You could just get fuel line and use some fittings and hose clamps and that would work.
