Re: H11 install

The studs just need to be screwed in to the proper depth with a slight preload and the nut should be torqued. If you are doing the change one bolt at a time method pull a bolt out, put a stud in and torque it then move on to the next one.

Re: H11 install

Don't know what the instructions say - never read 'em, but probably something to the effect of lightly seated.

Re: H11 install

A1 H11's have a dog point on them, make sure the holes are clean and run them down till they stop then tighten them down enough to make sure they are seated well.
When I used them I took them to 140 final torque.
are they new or used?

They are used a few weeks... should I just follow the APR Sequence and #'s other than just running them down?

Re: H11 install

Well I think I tightened them down to around 30 ft/lbs w/ the allen key and then torqued to a final torque of 135 or 145.

Retorqued after it got hot and nothing had changed.
