Exhaust input(?!)

One of the first mods I am planning for my truck is a 4" SS turbo back exhaust system.
Is there a good/better/best hierarchy for pipes?
Not really interested in BLING, just a good fitting, good sounding system.
What are your favorites, and who has the best deals?

Thanks in advance.

MrBill.

Re: Exhaust input(?!)

If you are set on stainless I would either go with either MBRP or Magnaflow.

The MBRP muffler will be louder if you are going to leave the muffler in. Magnaflow is pretty quiet, but a nice tone under heavy throttle.

Aluminized is another, less expensive option, and will work fine if you don't live on corrosive roads, humid climate etc.

Living in florida rust and humidity may be significant. If you plan on keeping your truck for a long time I would go stainless.

Re: Exhaust input(?!)

Thanks for the input.
I wasn't sure about the MBRP pipes. But it seems quite a few people are running them.
I also thought about the aluminized tubing, but for the price difference, the ss will last alot longer, seems a no-brainer.

BTW Greg, don't you ever sleep?
Me? I work midnights.

Thanks again for the help.

Re: Exhaust input(?!)

I've got MBRP under mine and it fit really good, absolutley no complaints.

However, I've also installed a few Magnoflow kits and in my opinion it's a cleaner kit, with better hangers, welds, and turbo flange on the downpipe.

Each kit will work the same and they both fit great, it just comes down to price or personal preference.
