I got it started got it to my house it idled great day but if I got in the gas itd sputter. No engine lights on. Wont start at all now. New ipr new lift pump new cps. CPS and lift are from ford. Icp is bad due to oil in the plug but even before it died unplugging the icp didnt help the truck run. What am I missing I dont like throwing money at a issue with out knowing what it is. Please help me.

Re: Crank no start please help

2nd the fuel filter check. Also check fuel level. My pick up tube broke inside the fuel tank, and even though my gauge showed I had a little bit of fuel, it couldn't get out of the tank because the fuel level was below the pickup tube! So maybe add 5 gallons and see if it starts. Or open the fuel bowl drain, then roll the key over to see if the fuel pump is pushing fuel. Put a big catch pan under the fuel bowl drain tube....

Oil level correct in the crank case ? How many miles ?
Do you have access to a scan tool ?
Check the pig tail on the IPR is very common for the insulation on the wires to get soft and the wires short out.

What filters do I check truck is between a quarter and a half atm. I hear a slight gurgle noise at front when pump is on. I have a ob11 scanner but no codes are showing. The hpop thingy is full of oil.

New lift pump fuel is getting in the housing. And 200k. I know were notndupposed to use starting fluid but I put a mist against the breather and it fired up. I didnt spray it directly into anything so to protect the motor.

Well Timothy, I think the first place to start be to see if any codes are stored. Look up some no start conditions on YouTube might be a quicker way also since we don't have a lot to go on.

I have. Most say the ipr or cam shaft sensor I swapped both with ford parts. Lift pump was an oriellys one. I'll look for changed wires next and try and find a better scanner then mine and see if theres any codes.
