1999 F350 Super Duty Wheel Removal

Aluminum wheel removal, The wheels have bonded by electrolysis Aluminum against steel hub. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to remove them? I wish the previous owner had used some Anti-Seize between the two. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.

Take all the lug nuts off and try kicking the tire in different spots.

Loosen but donít remove the lugs. Then slowly drive in figure 8ís. This is the last thing I would try though. ^^^^^ that comment would be my first attempt

Take the lug nuts loose, not off like stated, let the truck Down off the jack, rock the truck back and forth by pushing from the side. It will clunk when the wheel comes loose

Thanks, I will try this also, is it a good idea to soak the mating surface area with penetrating oil also beforehand?

This is my favorite for soaking things to break loose

Re: 1999 F350 Super Duty Wheel Removal

when i had to remove the wheels on the 550 the first time it took driving round the yard with the lug nuts loose to break them loose. when it was put back together everything got a coat of never-seize. no problems after that.
