New Ford ICP - Running with bad miss and no power

New ICP and running worse than ever, but no codes. EGTs are high and loss of power. The old ICP was filled with oil and started to throw codes, ordered a Ford one for ~$135. Installed and now it runs okay for the first 2-3 mins then totally falls on its face. Will stay running, but not like it should.

Buzz tested all injectors firing

Fuel pressure stays around 60 psi even under load

Checked the IDM to injector pins and everything checks out

I have not checked the compression on any of the cylinders. Is there a good way to check the ICP? Have to wonder if I got a bad one since it started right when I put the new one in. The #1 cylinder does have a decent exhaust leak that I need to fix, would that do it?

Once again, putting it out there and seeing what help I can get.

New Ford ICP - Running with bad miss and no power

You need to get a scanner to see What percentage the ipr duty cycle doing and what pressure the icp is showing at idle. Is the ipr tin nut loose. Did the icp connector fill with oil and damage the wiring there. A exhaust leak will cause some power loss do to no drive pressure on the turbo.

Unplug the icp and see if it runs okay. It will tell you if the icp is at fault

This is what I have with KOEO. I'm trying the ICP unplugged now to see how it is, but last time it wouldn't even run.

Here is what it looks like running at idle ~750 RPM. I have to look, but aren't those values out of whack? IPR is too high, right?

Here it is with the ICP disconnected at an idle. Can see the difference in the psi. Aren't both plugged and unplugged values pretty high?

Re: New Ford ICP - Running with bad miss and no power

At idle, your psi should vary around 450-700psi, depending on what the pcm is calling for. With the ICP unplugged, the pcm cant see the sensor so it "defaults" to a know good setting but the scanner cant read it because its unplugged.

Re: New Ford ICP - Running with bad miss and no power

Does anyone know the resistance the IPR coil should have? Measured and was getting 1.2k Ohms drop over it.
