I've noticed here latley that my egt's seem alittle high for just daily drives. My egt's are running anywhere from 800 to 1200 degrees depending on the slope. Before I could run under 600 most of the time unless I was playing around in the 140 tune. Now on 80eco. the egt's seem to stay between 800 and 1200. My diy air filter was loose the other day so I tightened it back up any idea's of why the egt's are high?
Yes check for boost leaks and like Dave says check exhaust for leaks, meaning your up pipes. They tend to leak around the collector at the turbo. You'll know if you see sooty up pipes. It's a matter of changing out the gaskets.
15 pounds and under mostley 10 and under just interstate driving at about 72 or 73 mph thats on grades flat there isn't much boost at all.
