So ive been having this intermitant lopey/rough idle ever since ive installed my 238/80's. its nothing bad just a tad annoying, so i pulled my IPR connector for the hell of it. Thats the sensor in the drivers side head correct? Well idle got worse while it was unplugged but there was oil in the connector. i know oil means its going bad but seems as if its running well everywhere else. Could this be causing the lope/ slight miss at idle every now and then?
Your IPR electrical connection/harness may be oily, due to the internal orings going bad.
I noticed my IPR needed attention when I started to get a 'hard-to-start when engine is warm' condition. Another indication of failing orings, I do believe.
i know if theres oil in the connector its going bad, my ICP has oil in it
