Banks pyro not working help

I have a banks pyro it was on the truck when i got it. It also had a six gun which is long gone, when i had the sixgun removed the pyro only goes to 400 up hills when it should be at 800. Is the guage bad or the probe? how can i test it?

Where did you install the pyro?

im geussing he put the pyro in the downpipe somewhere near the bottom of the pipe, buddy did that on his dmax like an idiot
