Heads

Can someone tell me how much the heads weigh on 05-07 6.0s? Thanks!!

I found the weight on 7.3 heads by googling it. I was curious because I about died lifting them out, they were over 230 lbs apiece and I was 17 when I did it.

Official PSN special needs duramax guy! ASE cert. mastertech 2004 LB7, Efi-live with tunes from THE idahorob, s366 from EPR, head studs, Dmax-4 transmission kit, airdog 165, tie rod sleeves, intake, exhaust, gauges.

6.0 heads are about 90 lbs a piece.

Nope, I've seen one person lift them up off the block and then have a buddy help him get them out of the truck. He was standing inside the engine bay with the inner fenders out of the way and yanked it off. He wasn't very big either, maybe 185 lb guy.

230 lbs! 7.3 IDI heads are a little over 100 lbs.

I think the hardest part when taking heads out is just getting a good grip so you don't drop the them.
