aftermarket ic pipes

does anyone have just the pipes in a kit? I have searched and found nothing

yeah but you have to buy their whole kit though and I already have a mishimoto intercooler

IIRC Banks sells just the IC pipes but it comes with a big mouth elbow too.

thus another part i dont need, I have an IC elbow from 4041.com, I wonder by chance how much the pipes and elbow are though... I wish I could find the part number for just the pipes I went on their site and nothing but the full kit was listed

yea they do, but the stock intercooler pipes flow more then enough. the manifold would be a better upgrade to get one like doug's. there can only be as much air moving as the most restrictive point in the system.

The inlet to the manifold is still going to be 3 inches. Going to a bigger pipe is just going to add some lag to the system since it has to pressurize the pipe in addition to the manifold.

it would be nice to get a set that isn't as beat up as the ones I have though, I guess I could get mine powdercoated though

To spend even less, my buddy got some engine enamel and sprayed his piping, it looked good and cost him $12 bucks in rattle cans.
No reason to spend a hundred or so on getting it powdered when you can brillo pad the pipes and spray them with high heat paint for pretty much the same look.

Thats actually what I may be doing now... I even thought about maybe using some header wrap to dress it up but a buddy said that it would get brittle
