6.0 turbo rust

I have a 2006 6.0 that i had the stock turbo blow out on and ford put one in onder warrent and it was very laggy, took in in a few times they said it was just fine, then took it to a after market shop and they found the vains were all rusted. They tryed to clean it and it didn't help. Is there a better way to clean it to help it spoll better. they sanded it out.

Re: 6.0 turbo rust

So, let me try to understand this, you are telling us that a ford dealership put in a non-rebuilt turbo while your truck is still under warranty?

Strap it to a gas can/road flare fun bag and go visit the dealership!

Re: 6.0 turbo rust

forget the rust, it's not worth trying to get rid of it, you need to find a dealer that will actually help you and get a different turbo
