6.0 long starts

I have a 2006 6.0 and its been taken between 3 to 8 secounds to start, was woundering if that is a normal time for them or if its too long.

injection control pressure, you will need a scan to monitor the parameters on a few sensors on the engine to give us a lil more info. the icp has to be 500 or above to start the engine and should do so almost immediately when u start to turn it over

Ok, its been to ford a few times and shows no codes, and they always says its withen spec, which is what they always tell me. How long does yours crank?

mine starts on the first revolution of the engine, but its got a new icp, ipr and hpop

Should be fine then, if it was low ICP you will get a code injection conrole pressure to low while cranking.

there is a leak developing somewhere or some sticking of different components.... After you run it hard, and its hot, shut it down and wait 5 minutes... Does it start even harder?

No it starts the same, some days it starts withen 3 secounds all day and others its 5-7 secounds. Had the fuel and oil parts that are under the turbo changed.
