sct tuning

Anyone running the sct and stage 1 garrett turbo, what kind of boost are you seeing? Will i need more than a 35 psi gauge?

Re: sct tuning

go with a 60 psi gauge, if you don't have head studs yet i would put those in before you worry about going to a larger turbo

Just getting a small tow tune, 50 hp, just to help light the turbo.

Re: sct tuning

well if you plan on going bigger in the future get a 60 otherwise get a 35... you aren't gonna see very high boost numbers with that kind of tune... are you running the canned tunes or are you going to get a custom one?

Re: sct tuning

Going to get the custom tunes, hoping they can tune it to light like the stock ones, and keep my egts down while towing. pull around 8k to 24k.

Re: sct tuning

I didn't like my custom towing tunes, truck ran hot. I prefer to run stock when pulling heavy.
