Oil Cooler????

I just bought a used 2004 excursion with 6.0L. Had diagnostics run by at Ford and they replaced the EGR valve. My next question is does this mean the Oil Cooler is bad and if so what to do next? Buy the kit from Bulletproof diesel? Little confused by posts after doing search. Seen more then one Oil Cooler fix and not sure if thats needed. On BPDiesel they say EGR goes bad caused by Oil cooler. Any suggestions going forward? Truck runs great just need it to go for quite a long time.

Re: Oil Cooler????

Next up: Pics of clogged coolant filter!

That's a good kit; I've installed at least two of them.
