Oil Temp Gauge question

I just got some glowshift gauges for my truck and I was wondering what to do with the oil temp gauge. I don't want to replace the factory unit because I want both gauges to work....I know with the new one, I'll never look at the factory one but I cant stand gauges that dont work. What is everyone else doing?

Re: Oil Temp Gauge question

well i found one for $110....but it says for oil psi.....will it still work for oil temp?

Still kinda high....I'd honestly rather have the fuel psi and billet cap

Re: Oil Temp Gauge question

if its a billet cap for the oil filter then it should work for both low pressure PSI as well as temp, just depends on what sensor you put into the mount.

I have the billet cap and use it for oil temp.

Re: Oil Temp Gauge question

I got mine from Abrannan19 and I think it was cheaper than 110, but I'm not positive...

If you are going to run a fuel pressure gauge from the fuel billet cap then you are getting your pressure from the wrong place, you have to get it from the test port here Page 30: Fuel Supply System from your post it just sounds that way.

And why is the cap the wrong spot? I'm pulling my fp from my billet cap, reads 50psi...
