Re: Head gaskets again

you should be fine reusing the studs just get some arp lube, stock gaskets work fine if the heads are machined correctly. i would have the heads pressure checked and magnafluxed while there at the machine shop.i would also look into a regulated return fuel system, your injectors will thank you

Dealer ought to have a strait edge hanging on the wall, and know how to use it. And yes, you can reuse ARPs up to 5 times I believe. I would still get with ARP and see what the tolerance is for them. Then measure to make sure they're within spec. If I was almost out of warranty, I would make sure they got this right the first time. Good luck with it man.

Re: Head gaskets again

and the dealer doesnt care about the 155s or 64 turbo? I know a few dealers that are fine as long as your truck looks stock

Re: Head gaskets again

the dealership has a straight edge but there specs arent to great. the heads need to be machined. it will just blow another gasket with ford specs. if they are covering it under warranty then its cool but im not to fond of fords work lol.

Re: Head gaskets again

Whos to say....they may or they may not, its kind of a crap shoot.
I do know you are one lucky sob getting warranty with all that aftermarket stuff bolted on there.
