FICM or AirdogII?

Well work has been goin good an I got a couple side jobs goin on so I was going to spend some money on the truck. I already have an SCT Innovative tuned and a 5" straight pipe exhaust. Before anyone suggests EGR delete or ARPs, I just replaced the EGR not long ago (i know stupid me!!) and I have a set of ARPs coming in a few weeks from my buddy. My question is what is more benificial power wise for the mods I have done an AirdogII or a reprogrammed FICM? Also who does the best FICM reprogramming?

Re: FICM or AirdogII?

I would go with the AD2. Fuel pressure is pretty important. A good tune will suck it down to nothing, then you'll be shopping for injectors.

Re: FICM or AirdogII?

I wasnt going to go with a highly tuned FICM i was just looking for something that will work with factory to maybe later on slightly upgraded injectors. What kind of differences hp/torque/response will I see out of the ADII?

Re: FICM or AirdogII?

All I saw was a little better MPG's no performance. However having my fuel pressure gauge steady at 60 PSI while WOT on a race tune was the best feeling to have.

A AirDogII is what you need to go with. Like they said above without fuel you will be getting new injectors very soon.
