White smoke

I have 2005 excursion 6.0. I just had it studded, decked, egr delete kit, and a new oil cooler. Ive noticed that it seems to blow white smoke when I start it and it goes away once it gets warmed up. Should I be concerned?

Also it seems like since I had this work done it seems like I have lost a little power.?.?

Re: White smoke

Depending on the PCM flash as stated above, it could be injectors. There are spool valves in the injectors that can stick when they are cold, and open once warm which can cause hard cold starts and smoke at start too

Re: White smoke

Did it have a blown EGR cooler before all the work was performed?

Re: White smoke

Might be some excess water in the exhaust that just needs time to clear, or an untested cooler may have been re-installed

Re: White smoke

Sorry to steal the post but when i had my icp sensor done the dealership reflashed my computer last year and it has been starting to lack in power and blow a little black smoke. I took my Edge off and it has been acting up since then. Just curious if anyone has any input...
