Transmission grinding

i have an 07 powerstroke with the 5 speed and when im in 2nd gear about 1500-2500 rpms my transmission will make a strange sound. its almost like a grinding sound but not quite, im not sure how to describe it. anyone else experiencing this?

What mods are on the truck? Could the DP be rubbing the firewall?

the only thing i have done is a 4 inch DP. im thinking its internal though

Do yourself a favor and take a look. I thought I was having issues because I could hear/feel a grinding and the DP was rubbing.

what size dp are you running

2007 F-250 CCLB, 4 in. Straight Pipe, 5 in.Tip, Tough Country Front End Replacement, 2 in. Level Kit, On All Terrains, Boost Egt And Oil Temp From Glowshift, ZF6, Flopro Egr delete, Superchips Flashpaq

I had a 4". Because of the rubbing i went down to a 3.5

i looked today when i was changing my oil and it wasnt that. ill just see if it keeps happening or works itself out
