7.3 ic fit in '05 6.0

A friend blew his 6.0 ic, blew the end tank off. Didnt crack, just popped it out of the end. Does the 7.3 aluminum ic fit in/around the rad.? Have to make new supports?

if it blew off the end tank that is plastic on a 6.0... why put another one in? or was it just a fluke? you still have stock one in with your compounds?

I would disagree.

An aluminum end tank 7.3 cooler would be a direct drop in and cheaper then an aftermarket option.

Re: 7.3 ic fit in '05 6.0

why are 7.3 guys buying 6.0 intercoolers then? plastic end tanks shouldnt blow off with a stock charger. i ran 43psi with a 68mm vgt HO with the stock ic and the end tanks were fine.

The 6.0 is a better design over all and does a better job. Look into the mitsu moto ic. It is priced better thgan most afternarket ones.
