6.0 headstuds one at a time without pulling Cab

I am new to this forum stuff so I am sorry for my punctuation and stuff.

well I am about 5 months new to the 6 liter engine and extremely budgeted.
A few months ago I started researching the 6.0 liter engine. I ended up picking up a 2003 F350 SD 4X4 LARIATwith 239,000 for $7000.

I just finished putting headstuds in one at a time (pulled one, torqued one) without lifting the cab and getting a new head gasket and probably needing to machine my heads from warpage. I got injectors from an 05 with 2500 miles on them and installed the EGR delete with a new uppipe. finally finished the project yesterday and it ran a lot smoother and faster 0-60 time. After doing this project I feel very confident doin it again or helping others if they have any questions for people who are on extreme budgets.

How did you get 05 injectors into an 03 motor? I thought they were completely different?

That's a pretty darn good deal on that truck! $7k! Nice! Get some pics up!

Black smoke don't mean it's broke... it means your tuning sucks!

What compelled you to not change the gaskets?

I am on an extreme budget and if I were to pull the heads. A new gasket would cost $250 ish and machining the heads would be another $180 ish. So I saved myself $430 ish.

your right you cant hurt anything. I is just time wasted if you don't succeed.

A FEW TIPS:
you do not have to pull the heater box or loose you ac coolant.
make sure you do the correct torque sequence and not to do it backword like other people have said to do for some reason.

Re: 6.0 headstuds one at a time without pulling Cab

Thanks but I did the pass side last night and already pulled the HVAC box just to give more room. It doesnt take much and I can recharge my ac so its no big deal.
how did you get the lower rear bolt out of the driver side? I havent got to it yet and have read that you can just trim the insulation out and and the bolt will come out.
