getting a little closer

Just got the motor back from machine shop and starting assemblig the rest back together
just waiting for the heads getting them machined to except the elite valve springs

build list :
hypermax rods
elite .020 low comp coated pistons
total seal rings
elite stage 1 cam
elite valvesprings
elite pushrods
elite billet flexplate
calico coated cam,main,rod bearings
fully balanced
bulletproofdiesel oil cooler delete

the greeen will stand out in the white truck, looks good, glad to see you went with hypermax rods over stockers, there was a thread about you goin to stockers cause the other ones didn't fit or something.

yes very long story getting frustrated and just wanted back together

carrillos design engineer they pay top dollar to design rods didnt think about testing them and they were to wide at the bottom and when you rotated the engine they hit the cylinder wall big mess
but eric got me a set of hypermax rods next dayed

2000 ford 7.3 more than some less than others..

Looks excellent, I like the green as well, but I have to ask...why, when EVERYTHING else was out of the block, didn't you deck the block?

surface checked out fine and never had a headgasket issue
i told the machine shop to but they said it was not needed and would cause clearance isssues with the pistons
