Livewire Issue

When I plug the Livewire in, the screen pops up blue, get the SCT emblem in black...then the black fades away. I can turn the jog wheel and hear the "beeps", but only have a blue screen. Out of warranty. Is this a common issue with these and anyone know of a fix?

Thanks!

Re: Livewire Issue

Sounds like what mine does and it does it a few times a year. In my case it is that the memory card comes loose. Since you have no warranty, you can open it up and just push the memory card back in and you are good to go. Mine just has two screws on the back and then you have to do some wiggling and be careful trying to separate the case. The tabs are hooked a bit so it requires some sliding and wiggling.

I have gotten to where I keep a tiny Phillips head screw drive with the Livewire because it happens every so often. I had it happen once in the middle of loading a tune, which totally sucked, because the PCM had nothing written on it and my Livewire thought the truck was still in stock mode so it didn't have my stock file saved. SCT had to do some stuff to get that straightened out for me.

Re: Livewire Issue

If you ride it around in the truck the sd card seems to shake loose. Pop it open, click the sd card back in, and you should be good to go. If that doesn't help, you are screwed
