Re: FASS or Injectors?

A bad FASS pump wont cause puking. mine fed 190s all day at 55 psi no matter how I drove. I would bet you have a headgasket issue. Did it always puke with the 155s? usuially when you add something such as big injectors, its gonna puke a little to where its happy but that shouldnt last long. could just be a bad cap. how bad is the puke? what does your fuel pressure range?

Re: FASS or Injectors?

well I'll start with the obvious....how full is your fuel tank?

with my FASS, it starts bucking and cutting out at around a 1/4 tank. my pickup tube probably needs to be a bit longer...

for the puking issue, i would start with a new cap, i think its like 9 bucks.

Re: FASS or Injectors?

Thanks guys I'l get a new one tmr. just went to town and back 30mins and the level did not change in the bottle could have just been over full and it didnt like the WOT runs. as for the fuel presure it goes to 60psi at cold start up then drops to 58ish when its working good. now its starts at 58 then when you put the truck under load it will dance between 42 and 58. i drained the water separater today to see if there was water then let it prime its self back up to 58psi could it have air trapped in the system you think?

Could have been sucking air, that's why I went with a sump pump I don't have to worry about that

Re: FASS or Injectors?

I have the FASS and a sump.... and will still lose fuel pressure at around 1/4 tank due to sloshing on the country roads I drive on. My FASS used to run 58 to 59 psi all the time, now it stays at 55 psi. I stretched the return spring, did the 6.4 banjo bolts, and deleted the engine mounted fuel filter and it holds good at 55. If I see it dropping lower and holding steady at a lower number, I will call FASS and see what they say.
