Not the matter of your a fabricator or not, you cant just slap a turbo on a 6.0 and expect it to work, H2E I dont know much about but in the 6.0 realm if its such a pain in the ars to get a Non VGT working correctly, and sizing the turbine and compressor etc really think you can slap it on there with out any issues

Re: H2 or upgraded vg....

I know that there are guys out there that have done this before.... Taken the vg off and "slapped" nonvgs on their trucks. I know I will loose bottom
end, but I can make up for that! I was just hoping to hear form the people out there that have done it and had either great or horrable results!

Re: H2 or upgraded vg....

its not so much losing bottom end, but the mid range that suffered most. it takes a few tries to get the tuning right to where it runs right. Mine had a deadspot between 45 and 65 the first time, then with a few changes to the tuning it was really only 45-55 and just had to live with it. injectors help but honestly i would say look at a larger vgt like the new garret powermax. people seem to have good results on that for streetability and power

Re: H2 or upgraded vg....

I've done it dude been there done that deal got the t-shirt for it most folks either go bck to a vgt or twins, ur problem can be tuning as well and who actually has tune that turbo on a 6.0, everyone on here knows what I'm capable of n what I've done in the past. That's my opinion u wanna try it have at it but u better talk to a tuner before hand see if it can be tuned right
