I remember you saying it got hot as crap without the water injection and that's my whole point.

I don't want to have to add anything else to my truck and it get's old having people think your truck is broke because you stuff is smoking like crazy.

These injectors have performed flawlessly and I like them....just don't like towing with them.

These 200's put my old 190's to shame when it comes to smoke

Re: Video of my new 190cc injectors...

No, I am running Colt Cams "Performance cam"

I bought a Snow Performance Stage 3 MPG-MAX to deal with the egt's, but it doesn't work either... (I have sent an E-mail to Derek, and have posted in the "Injectable" threads...no replies from anyone, or Snow yet.)

I built this engine to make some big power, but it was taking too much time away from my family with all the damn wrenching all the time. (No family time.)
When the truck is down, life seems to come to a halt around here.

If it's just injectors, fine, I will change them again, but I would like to drive this damn thing this summer too. I need it to be a "Truck" for awhile....so it better pull the damn trailer this weekend, or I will have a set of those "Truck Nutz" hanging from the back of my truck....only they will be ALOT MORE REAL then anything you have ever seen.

David...it's not getting old...it's just down right embarrassing... No wonder some vendors don't send stickers out anymore....why advertise crap that makes your truck "Useless"?

Re: Video of my new 190cc injectors...

Ok, I kinda confused. I was talking to Doug the other day about what kind of injectors I should get. He told me to get some 190's. I asked if that was too much and if it would smoke or something along those lines. He said they could adjust the tuning to make them basically run like stock if I wanted.

My question is, If you're running big injectors and towing, why not have a tow file written to take some of the fuel out? I honestly don't know the answers so don't take it as sarcasim

The videos were with a "Tow" tune.

There is a serious issue with these injectors, so they are being sent back for repair or refund...whatever.
No one seemed to believe me when I said they were smoking more then the 225's I had before, and the light throttle response was very smokey...so I videoed it for everyone.

Tuning is a big part, but tuning can not fix screwed up injectors or camshafts. This is why I am sticking stock injectors in...to see if the response comes back. If it does, then the cam is prolly ok. If it is still a slug till after 2000 rpm...then I am going to be pulling the engine out, and deciding what to do with all the parts...maybe someone wants a nice new engine to put in their toy...IDK.

Re: Video of my new 190cc injectors...

In simple terms. Fuel limit based on EOT. Instead of maxing it out. Cut it down. If you have a garden hose for a nozzle you need injection pressure to get the atomization back where it needs to be.

Now. If you have nozzles that were Extrude honed over and over and over again. It will look like a porn stars ass.hole where the pintle is supposed to seal. EDM the hole and it seals better.

You can take a stock truck and lock the converter and it will lug the engine. If you rev the engine slightly higher before the gear change... It won't fall off so bad into the next gear. Which is magically what Tow/Haul does. Unfortunately, guys with 3.73s that keep upping tire size just can't get around this. So, guess what. Want to be able to tow? Put some 4.30s in it. Look at how Ford rates the trucks for GCVW. It's all dependant on rear axle ratio.

Depending on the injector size you can pull fuel out...but only so much.

I have a file that has all the fuel pulled out of it you can and it still start and it still smokes some.

My opinion is if you plan on towing much you need to stay stock!!
