Installing Studs in a 6.0 Excursion??

Alrighty, got a friend with an '05 2wd Excursion. He bought studs and an egr delete for it. Is it much more difficult to pull and Ex body than a cab? How many more bolts and what extra things would be under there that have to be undone? Thanx!

Not really any harder than a Crew cab. Just havw to unplug the tail lights and unhook the fuel filler neck. All the hoses for the rear air and heat go up with the body.

It's only a few more body bolts and a couple harnesses.

Two post lifts FTW!

02-350. CCSB - Drivetrain by Stauffer, fuel by Swamps, air by Barder, tunes by Gearhead.
04-250. ECSB - In the shop...7.3 swap.

Re: Installing Studs in a 6.0 Excursion??

I didn't have access to a lift when I did my studs so I went in from the front. It was ugly. Makes the cost of a lift look more agreeable every day.
