What should I do now?

I just got my tax returns back and figured I'll put a little into my truck. I have an 04 lifted 4" just bought brand new wheels and tires and new shocks, smoked recon tails, mirrors and cabs, phantom II gauges , put an sct tuned by innvative but other than that its stock. I was thinking about doing duals and an intake. Anyone got ideas on what I should do with a grand.

Re: What should I do now?

i would spend you money on exhaust or something. you stock intake is pretty solid and is good up to 500hp.

Re: What should I do now?

If I end up doing exhaust do I need to contact Eric at Innovative to rewrite my tune? Also how much hp will the stock trans hold up to?

No new tune is needed for exhaust. Your trans with good tuning will be fine at the power levels you're running. I'd be worrying about the bolts and egr.

Re: What should I do now?

Ive been tuned for about 10,000 miles or so and knock on wood I havent had any problems. I don't beat on it. If I get the chance to beat on a vette or mustang or nice shiny beamer I will but other than that I drive it normal.

Re: What should I do now?

Ya u should be good if you drive it nice Some trucks are better then others. I went 10k easy with hot tunes on stockers and was fine untill the nitrous kit came in to play Do u have a fuel pressure gauge in cab? You might think about one of those...How many Benjamins are you trying to spend??

That really doesn't mean anything. When you could least afford it, they will go.

Save the grand for when it happens. If you really need to burn some cash, do an egr delete.
