Re: New FICM now SCT wont work

It's prolly locked.
The dealership most likely reflashed the FICM to the latest & greatest flash...rendering the SCT useless until new tunes are installed, which need to come from your tuner guy.
Try to read the strategy code...it's prolly different now.

The strategy doesn't change when you change the ficm. But if he installed a ficm from a different year it can have an incompatible ficm software with the pcm.

Where did the new ficm come from?

When the dealer installed the FICM they may have flashed the PCM, changing the stratagy.

Unable to connect... Not wrong vehicle. Or vehicle not supported.

Occasionally some dealers have pushed pins out of the datalink connector. Also, is this happening when it says to turn the key forward?
