Best option for injectors

Hello, I have a 2006 f250 with 265,000 miles. I just had an injector go out on me. I understand with the 6.0 it’s best to buy OEM injectors. Is there an option that is slightly better than factory but not much more expensive? I’m looking for a drop in and go injector without a tune needed. Thanks in advance, Brandon.

Truck is stock with exception of ficm tune, turbo back exhaust, and coolant filter.

Re: Best option for injectors

You won't really get any benefits of a bigger injector, without tuning.

Re: Best option for injectors

Reman from a parts store might be junk.
Even if just doing stock rebuilds, I would get them from one of the well known diesel companies.
You should be able to find some names in the site sponsor/vendor section.

Re: Best option for injectors

I ordered a set of 8 OEM's from Rock Auto a couple months ago. Returning the cores will cost a few bucks but the process to return them is step by step laid out on your order. It was no big deal. They were under $200/piece.

Re: Best option for injectors

After more research, if going stock size, just get actual OEMs from ford. They do have a better warranty as well.
