egr delete still runs slugish/ANY IDEAS?

I took it to ford and they said i need a new EGR cooler. So i put a EGR delete kit and it didnt fix the slugishness. At idle its fine. When I rev it up to 1500 or 2000 RPM it sounds like its missing and rocks the truck and smokes like its dumping gas... I also jus had a new FICM put in and reprogramed To fix my hard start and rough idle. ANY IDEAS????

What is the exact RPM that it starts shaking at? It will help you figure out if you need check valves in the high pressure system, or if you have combustion leaking into the fuel system.

do you have a boost gauge? that would help to diagnose the issue.
you could have a sticky turbo actuator

Sounds like you found another bad ford stealership.

when mine was doing that I had a couple injectors that were allowing combustion past them.
