Cool 2004 F350 6.0 - Turbo Noise - Cat Delete, Muffler Delete

Hey all!

I've been reading around and want to make sure that I understand this correctly. To enjoy a higher pitch louder death peaking whistle - you delete the cat and muffler but keep the stock pipe?

I really want to keep the stock exhaust pipe, not looking to abuse the hell out of her, but want to add a nice 50hp street tune and towing tune afterwards.

It currently had a AFE intake kit installed. The only thing that doesn't maker her completely stock.

EGR delete and oil cooler update is coming in the next week or two.

Thank you!!

You are correct. If you run a 4 or 5 in aftermarket straight pipe (replacing stock downpipe) it will be even louder!
I went with a muffler on mine, on long trips it got kinda annoying...
